EnergyUnited serves more than 100,000 customers in central and western North Carolina, making it the third largest supplier of residential electricity in North Carolina and a major supplier to businesses and industry. The cooperative has more than 11,000 miles of power lines that allow it to serve customers in counties stretching from the Virginia border to the South Carolina border (Alexander, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Gaston, Guilford, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stokes, Wilkes and Yadkin counties).
