Payment Options

Every month you will receive an electric bill from EnergyUnited prepared on the basis of a meter reading. Meters are read on or about the same day each month. Payment is due upon receipt and will be considered delinquent if payment is not received by EnergyUnited on or before the due date indicated on the bill.

Payments may be made by bank draft; phone (via check, debit, or credit card); mail (check or money order); after-hours deposit facility (check or money order); in person at any EnergyUnited office; via online banking; or the EnergyUnited web site (via check, debit or credit card). Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards are accepted.

Payment Options - Bank Draft

Members who choose to have monthly electric bills drafted from their checking accounts must provide EnergyUnited with a voided check bearing their account number and banking transit number. You will find a sign up form on the back of your payment stub. Checking accounts will be drafted approximately 10 days after the billing date shown on the statement. Members will continue to receive electric bills each month reflecting the amount that will be drafted from their accounts.

Sign-Up for Electronic Billing

If you prefer to conduct your transactions online, our new electronic billing program is for you. Participants of the program agree to receive an e-mail notification in lieu of a paper bill. The e-mail notification includes a link that will take you to the EnergyUnited website to view your monthly billing statement. Once there, you can choose to pay online via a secure third-party site; although, signing up for electronic billing does not require you to use this payment method. If you wish to participate in this program, contact Customer Care at 800-522-3793, or log in to the Account Information page.

Members also may take advantage of EnergyUnited's automated account information system to pay their electric bills. Simply dial 1-800-215-7315 and follow the easy prompts to make payments by check, debit, or credit card. Please have your account number available when using this option. EnergyUnited accepts VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards.

Equalized Payment Plan

Under this payment plan, members who have maintained a good payment history can make monthly equalized payments that are computed from the average of the last 12 months' usage. Equalized payments are recalculated every 12 months. Any credit or debit balances at the time of the annual update will be included in the recalculation of the monthly payment. Failure to pay the equalized payment when due will automatically remove your account from this plan. If you wish to sign up for the Equalized Payment Plan, please contact Customer Care at 800-522-3793.

Online Banking Payment
Pay through your bank, online.

Members may pay their monthly electric bills through their personal online banking service. Members who use their online banking service should allow enough time for the payment to reach EnergyUnited in order to prevent penalty fees and/or disconnection of service. Payments made by one's personal online banking service may not reach EnergyUnited for 7-10 business days. If a member's electric service is scheduled to be disconnected for non-payment, the online bank payment may not reach EnergyUnited in time to

prevent interruption of electric service. We suggest you check with your bank to determine the length of time it will take for EnergyUnited to receive your payment.
